AlmaHealthDB is an IT and procedural enabling infrastructure, that grows up from an interinstitutional project between the Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna and three research hospitals in the metropolitan area of Bologna, IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli, IRCCS Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria di Bologna - Policlinico di Sant’Orsola, Fondazione Ricerca Scienze Neurologiche Azienda Usl di Bologna ETS.
The project aims at the use and reuse of clinical data for biomedical research purposes in compliance with legal, organizational, and regulatory requirements, allowing researchers to collect and access large volumes of health data either individually, in collaboration with one another, or in agreement with external parties.
